RED *** Imperfect Poetical Playing Cards ***

This is the last batch of Fluro red - As I began to tackle the studio basement in my new year spring clean - I came across the remaining boxes of the original deck of playing cards - we rejected these when the decks were assembled for the final packs - as we are very VERY picky. These are the 52 playing cards / smothered in verse / difficult phone conversations & lacquer that we made many moons ago.

We assembled a few imperfect decks, but soon ran out of boxes and the original labels. 

We hate waste here (hence holding on to the imperfect decks for several years) - so we had a brain wave - and have put the last of these decks in the spare grey boxes from the festivical cards - creating a beautiful Frankenstein hybrid. I then spent over a month designing a label - & eventually a whole typeface - three unique stamps - and because I couldn't decide between colours - there are two versions. This is the Fluro Red.

Anyway - it might be print alignments on the playing cards, a fade with the ink, or it might be a fleck - a strange crop. All things we felt at the time meant they were not up to scratch - but they are still full workable playing cards. 

The poems themselves are all present and correct, so - you are buying an imperfect version of our 4 times sell out original Deck, it’s not possible to know the fault. You will get a full set with all the poems readable at the very least.
